Flowers in Los Angeles Arboretum

I had a very flowery weekend both in LA and San Diego. I actually have a good number of flower pictures in my archives taken from all over the ecosystem. And since I’ve been meaning to post a floral collection, I wonder why not. I stayed there for hours taking pictures of the entire garden, completely delaying all my other checkpoints to Route 66.

Watch out for the third pic.

How I hate to say “I told you so”.

With work, personal life, blogging and travel, I badly need to ease it down. Extending my time in LA Arboretum was a great way to “stop and smell the flowers”.

I’m sorry for being a horrible human not knowing all the names of these flowers including the ones in the slides. If you have something to share about these flowers, you are very welcome to do so.

If you think an image from this slideshow should be on top, please do let me know. I’m not the expert in flower pickings.

LA? Flowers? Here’s to a nature-friendly blog.

From interior design to backyard decoration and garden beatification, Anne is your gal. With overflowing creativity, her blog teaches D.I.Y’s practical applications, techniques, tips and trades. Her backyard was even featured on Apartment Therapy. More importantly, it’s all nature-loving and all-appreciating nature blog. Get all the glory to SunandGlory. My favorite is her Unique LA booth set-up.

  1. One place I should have visited before leaving California is San Diego. Beautiful weather, beaches and nature’s wonders. Today, these stunning flowers simply showed me what I missed. Great joy Bro. You have an eye to capture amazing visuals.

  2. Same here Rommel. I too do not have much idea about names of flowers. But why do we need to define beauty with a name? These are really beautiful flower. You did it right by spending few hours at the garden. 🙂

  3. Lovely photos! Thanks for stopping by to check out the photos from my own recent trip to an arboretum. Isn’t it a wonderful break from the daily grind to spend a few hours among the flowers?

Don't be shy to say hi.
