The FIFTH Element

Jo of RestlessJo finally tagged me with something. ( Geez! About time. AhihihiΒ πŸ˜€ ) She tagged on a competition that asked us to explore the four elements – Earth, wind, water, and fire. This competition has long been done. It’s okay I never submitted any of my postΒ entries anyway. I just want forΒ other participants to better theirΒ Β chance of winning. πŸ˜€ Plus I always like to break the rules whenever I respond to this kind of tagging posts. πŸ˜‰ Instead of just the four elements each alone, I’d like to add something …

  1. Geez, Rommel! Those other guys are SO lucky you didn’t enter! This has WINNER stamped all over it πŸ™‚ I started off in love with your first couple of earth shots and the standard didn’t waiver. Fabulous work! I take my hat off to you (good job that guy on the rings wasn’t wearing one- that shot is SO cool). Many thanks for the mention. I’ll have to tag and inspire you a little more often. πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚
Happy Easter! (that will be amazing in Crete! more incredible photos to come πŸ™‚ )

  2. So cool, and so right you are to allow another to “win” the 4-elements ~ you have put together something that is altogether other-worldly. Incredible set of photos, and I try to think which one is my favorite and it is a constant battle between them all… Earth is where I am most connected, but boy did I enjoy your fire series (with the band being a fantastic contribution to the elements).

But as I think everyone will agree, it is the human element that puts them all in the right place ~ and defines them like no other. This is an amazing, truly inspiring post ~ enjoy the final hours of this weekend Rommel, you deserve it πŸ™‚

    • Hello there. We miss you. πŸ™‚ I wasn’t going to put the concert pic, but had to come up with another one to make the gallery even. Now, I’m glad I included it because of your comment. Thanks!

      • Ha, ha ~ it was a longer travel than I expected πŸ™‚ But so nice to come back to all this! The concert pic was really cool, brought back memories of the energy of music ~ perfect inclusion! Wish you a great week ~

  3. Oh my god Rommel ! these are all amazing captures representing the five elements and those guys are lucky you didn’t enter the competition….! I cannot choose my favorites…

    • Inspiring is coming up. Didn’t think it was until all the comments. Thanks for the feedback, Helen. Go and (air-quote) practice. πŸ˜‰

  4. Woah these photographs are ‘MAGNIFICENT’ Rommel. I like Earth the most, but my favorite has to be the ‘Human’ element πŸ˜‰
Great personal touch to the challenge. ~huge round of applause~

Have a splendid week ahead ❀

  5. So well done Rommel … I’ve loved looking at these .. you know you do a terrific job of capturing people in there of the scale ELEMENT too πŸ™‚
Super pics of freedom and happiness …. I’m glad you didn’t lean back πŸ˜‰

    • I actually wanted to do a SCALE post before. I was tempted to do that Weekly Photo Challenge. It’s nice to know that I still get to do it in a different post.
Super pics of freedom and happiness … huh, nice observation.

  6. Stunning post with most spectacular photos,I particularly liked your brilliant epilogue, which is from my country!
I came here thanks to my lovely friend Amy,and I never regretted it πŸ™‚

  7. Your ‘Earth’ collection is spectacular Rommel! But it is your ‘Air’ shot from Ventura county fair that grabs me. And the ‘Human’ element πŸ™‚
